Why is there so much suffering in the world?
Many people ask me if God is a
God of Love why does he allow the suffering that goes on in the world like
famine, and earthquakes etc.
Well hardships help develop our character
and strengthen our faith (1 Peter 1:3-7).Our own suffering helps us comfort and
have more compassion for others (2 Corinthians 1:3-7)
"I
asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
and brings you closer to me"

What about baptism?
Scripture is clear that as a sign of our change of heart we
need to be baptized as soon, as is practically possible
after we have become a Christian. The symbolism of the
baptism water is that as we go down into the water we are
leaving our sinful lives behind and coming up we are
starting a new life which is clean and spotless.
This process was good enough for Jesus when John baptized
him, so it should be equally as good for us!
Do I have to give up everything bad overnight?
No, Jesus wants you to come to him
warts and all and it is the work of the Holy Spirit (who comes into our lives
when we become Christians) to help us to become more like Jesus.
This is not an overnight process so do not get worried about this. However is
also up to us to try to avoid situations, which would cause us to sin from now
on.
Is it really as simple as you make out?
I do not really make
it out. It is the Bible, which tells us how simple it is.
Becoming a Christian is the easy bit because now God want to
be in the driving seat of your car (life) and allow you to
now be the passenger.
This means quite a change in most of our lives but it is
worth it because God is a far better driver than you and me.

What do you think Heaven is like?
In Heaven our lives will no longer be troubled with the cares
of this life. We will be filled with joy being in the presence of our heavenly
Father. (Revelation 7:13-17)
When will Jesus come back?
The bible says
that no one knows the time or season. It
also says
that God
will not return until the entire world has
heard the Gospel message

Why don't I wait and make a decision when I am older?
The number of times people have asked me this
question. My answer is always what happens if something happened to you tonight,
would you be ready to face God. If you have not asked Jesus to forgive you your
sins you are in trouble. Jesus doesn't just give us eternal life when we become
Christians and it starts then, he also gives you a great life while you are on
the earth. Far from being restrictive it is really full and exciting.
